Federation-Enabled Execution OS

Trust in Execution — for AI, robots and the physical world.

Nitrotick is a Federation-Enabled Execution OS. AI agents decide and propose, robots and machines execute, people approve and oversee — and every step is authorized, durable and verifiable, across every organization involved.

Nitrotick Federation-Enabled Execution OS architecture: AI agents decide and propose, robots and machines execute, humans approve and oversee. Nitrotick provides identity and trust, capability authorization, deterministic execution, the federation protocol and verifiable evidence on cloud, on-premise, industrial and enterprise systems.

AI gateway · A2A governance · Execution OS

Are you looking for an AI gateway or A2A governance? We offer you an OS.

An AI gateway controls requests. A2A governance defines how agents interact. Nitrotick Execution OS goes further — it securely executes, governs and proves the full workflow.

Why an execution OS

AI can decide. Machines can act. Who governs the execution?

AI agents now plan work, robots carry it out and the outcome reaches suppliers, carriers, utilities and regulators. Each of them runs its own software, under its own authority.

Between the decision and the physical action there is usually nothing that checks who is allowed to issue the command, keeps the process alive through failures, or proves afterwards what really happened. That missing layer is what Nitrotick provides.

  1. Which agent or person issued this command?
  2. Did it hold the authority at the moment of execution?
  3. Does the process survive a crash without repeating a physical action?
  4. Can a partner organization join without handing over its data?
  5. Can an auditor verify the outcome years later?
Architecture

One execution OS between decisions and the real world

Nitrotick sits between the actors that decide and the infrastructure that runs. It holds the authority, the state and the evidence.

Actors

  • AI agentsDecide and propose — as bounded actors without direct execution authority.
  • Robots & machinesExecute in the physical world under scoped, time-bound capabilities.
  • HumansApprove and oversee wherever a step is designated as critical.

Separation of powers

AI proposes. Machines execute. People approve. Nitrotick proves.

AI agents as bounded actors

Agents plan and propose actions, but execution authority stays in the governance layer. A prompt injection cannot grant an agent power it was never given.

AI Governance

Robots & machines with scoped authority

Missions and commands are issued under capabilities that are checked when they run. Controllers and real-time loops stay where they are; Nitrotick governs what they are asked to do.

Humans in control

Designate any transition as critical and it waits for an authorized approval. The approver, the policy and the decision become part of the evidence.

Industries

Where execution reaches the real world

Manufacturing

Factories, suppliers and quality. Engineering changes, tool releases and robot cells governed across sites and supplier tiers.

Logistics

Supply chain, freight and assets. Hand-offs between shippers, carriers and warehouses with proof of who did what.

Energy & utilities

Infrastructure and field operations. Switching orders and maintenance tasks executed under verified authority.

Public sector

Cross-institution collaboration in which every agency keeps its sovereignty and every decision stays provable.

Financial services

KYC, claims and settlement. Business logic verified before value moves over any payment rail.

FAQ

Execution OS — frequently asked questions

What is a Federation-Enabled Execution OS?

It is the execution layer that sits between decision-makers — AI agents, people and enterprise systems — and the machines and processes that act on those decisions. Nitrotick checks identity and authority, executes each step deterministically and durably, federates work across independent organizations and records verifiable evidence of every state transition.

Is Nitrotick an AI gateway?

No. An AI gateway controls access to AI models and routes requests, and an A2A governance layer defines how agents interact. Nitrotick Execution OS provides the full execution environment around them: identity, capability authorization, durable state, governance and cryptographic evidence for the whole workflow.

Does Nitrotick replace a robot operating system or a PLC?

No. Robot controllers, PLCs and real-time control loops stay where they are. Nitrotick governs the missions, commands and hand-offs above them: who may issue a command, under which authority, and with what evidence of the outcome.

How is the Execution OS related to Nitrotick Federation?

Federation is one of the core services of the Execution OS. It lets independent organizations execute shared processes while each one keeps its own node, data and authority. The same OS also powers IP Evidence & Verification, Digital Product Passports and governed AI execution.

Where does Nitrotick run?

In your cloud on Kubernetes, in a private cloud or on-premise. Storage stays in your infrastructure, and Nitrotick connects to industrial systems such as MES, SCADA and IoT platforms as well as existing enterprise systems.
